I bought this book because it’s a story about Jack Ma but when I read it, it turned out about Chen Wei’s perspective on Jack Ma instead of 100% of Jack Ma’s life. Disappointed but it doesn’t matter as long as I know a little bit about Jack Ma’s attitude towards others and how others see Jack Ma. So, from this book, I know some of Jack Ma’s characteristics that make him become a successful person. Not only in business but also with people.
Consider each opportunity as a gateway to the future
Jack Ma had to work a lot of part-time jobs to launch Alibaba. He was a university graduate who made a career by networking with manual workers. To make ends meet, he grabbed every job he could find. He developed tenacity as a result of his resolve to take any job. He grabbed every chance with both hands and poured his heart and soul into it. He learned how to devote 100% of his attention to anything he undertakes as a result of this. As a result, he was able to grow Alibaba from a modest start-up to one of the world’s largest corporations.

Jack Ma is a wise and realistic man. He is calm and collected. He’s full of energy and has a good sense of humour. He is a wonderful storyteller and an excellent listener. To connect with people, he uses tales and examples. He is a visionary leader and a decisive decision-maker who is constantly one step ahead of the competition. He is the epitome of the belief that nothing is truly impossible in our world. To summarise, Jack Ma is a humble and kind leader. His strength, dedication, and charity will be remembered.

But when I think again, that’s the risk I have to bear when it comes to serious business. It’s not the first time I make a business but this time it’s different than before. It’s a serious business. I devote myself to it. Registered as a legal business. Open a bank account for my business. Find my team. Taking risks is important in anything. The risk I’m referring to is not just money but also time, energy, and emotion. Be brave to do something different. Then, when we try to do something new, persistence is one of the keys. Committed. The key to success is persevering and learning from our mistakes.
