I bought this book because it’s a story about Jack Ma but when I read it, it turned out about Chen Wei’s perspective on Jack Ma instead of 100% of Jack Ma’s life. Disappointed but it doesn’t matter as long as I know a little bit about Jack Ma’s attitude towards others and how others see Jack Ma. So, from this book, I know some of Jack Ma’s characteristics that make him become a successful person. Not only in business but also with people. Consider each opportunity as a gateway to the future Jack Ma had to work a lot of part-time jobs to launch Alibaba. He was a university graduate who made a career by networking with manual workers. To make ends meet, he grabbed every job he could find. He developed tenacity as a result of his resolve to take any job. He grabbed every chance with both hands and poured his heart and soul into it. He learned how to devote 100% of his attention to anything he undertakes as a result of this. As a result, he was able to grow Alibaba from a modest start-up to one of the world’s largest corporations. Giving up is not his choice Jack Ma is a wise and realistic man. He is calm and collected. He’s full of energy and has a good sense of humour. He is a wonderful storyteller and an excellent listener. To connect with people, he uses tales and examples. He is a visionary leader and a decisive decision-maker who is constantly one step ahead of the competition. He is the epitome of the belief that nothing is truly impossible in our world. Sebenarnya, cara ni boleh digunakan untuk semua jenis web sebab dia universal. Guna code HTML <iframe> tag untuk kita mark-up kan Spotify playlist dalam mana-mana web. WordPress Step 1: Sebelum kita nak embedded kan playlist, kita mesti buat playlist dalam Spotify terlebih dahulu. Boleh tekan ‘create playlist’ untuk buat playlist. Masukkan tajuk playlist dan keterangan *pilihan. Step 2: Login ke website WordPress, kemudian tekan ‘Add New Plugin’. Pergi ke butang ‘search’ dan taip Liza Spotify Widget For Elementor. Lepas dah siap ‘install’, boleh ‘active’ kan plugin tersebut. Step 3: Pergi ke editor Elementor, kemudian cari “Liza Spotify Widget”. Drag dan drop widget tersebut ke dalam section elementor page. Sebelum tu aku nak jelaskan yang aku bukan resume expert atau pernah bekerja di bahagian HR tapi kebanyakan resume untuk klien yang aku buat memang akan diterima masuk bekerja atau dipanggil interview. Overview Tips Buat Resume Tips ni bukan semberono atau main ‘cilok’ sesuka hati tapi memang aku belajar dengan lebih mendalam dan aku interview dengan salah seorang HR untuk aku ambil tips-tips untuk buat resume. Soalan-soalannya ialah (ps: Soalan ni dalam English sebab aku tanya dalam English haha): What will make a resume stand out to a hiring manager? If you glance through a resume for about 10-15 seconds, what is your initial impression? What can make a resume get rejected? Do you use any software to monitor resume such as Applicant Tracking System (ATS)? How can ATS filter the resume? Daripada interview ni, aku dapat simpulkan bahawa syarikat akan filter resume pemohon mengikut: Kriteria yang telah ditetapkan dalam Job Scope Jantina Pengalaman bekerja Skills Kalau dalam resume ada keempat-empat ini, peluang untuk resume anda diterima adalah besar. Paling utama adalah No. 1. Oleh itu, sangat penting untuk ‘highlight’ kan pengalaman bekerja yang berkaitan dengan pekerjaan yang dimohon. Sebagai contoh, kalau korang mohon kerja sebagai Graphic Designer, maka sangat penting untuk masukkan pengalaman sebagai pereka grafik dalam resume. Okey itu sekadar ‘overview buat resume’ sahaja. Guna je Microsoft Word untuk buat resume dan banyak template yang telah disediakan untuk membuat resume oleh Microsoft. Hanya edit sikit je. Elakkan buat resume menggunakan Canva atau mana-mana software editing sebab apabila export ke dalam bentuk .pdf, nanti akan jadi dalam bentuk gambar dan bukannya text. Nak tau sama ada resume tu export dalam bentuk text atau tidak, try lah untuk copy and paste ayat-ayat dalam resume tu. Kalau boleh copy&paste, maksudnya resume tu dalam text. Tengok contoh gambar dibawah: Letak Link untuk Butiran Peribadi Dalam resume, sangatlah wajib untuk letak butiran peribadi seperti Nama, Alamat, Nombor Telefon, E-mel, Sosial Media (LinkedIn, Facebook dan Website). Untuk sosial media, pastikan letak sebagai Link/Pautan supaya senang untuk ‘recruiter’ klik link dan terus pergi ke page tertentu. Sebab itu kena buat resume dalam bentuk text, supaya link/pautan tu boleh di klik. Boleh rujuk gambar dibawah. Website tu pilihan je. Tapi kalau ada letak portfolio di mana-mana website, boleh la letak link website tu dalam resume. PS: LinkedIn tu dah jadi macam perkara wajib untuk miliki, sebab mostly syarikat nak tengok profil LinkedIn. Kalau ada LinkedIn, kemungkinan boleh tarik perhatian ‘recruiter’. Experiences Untuk experience, dalam resume kena pakai ‘verb’ atau kata kerja untuk setiap permulaan ayat. Menggunakan kata kerja dalam resume akan menjadikan resume korang lebih kuat dengan menggantikan frasa yang selalu digunakan (yang selalu ‘recruiter’ nampak). Contoh: create, develop, achieved, launch etc. Selain tu, boleh tarik perhatian ‘recruiter’ untuk faham pengalaman bekerja korang. Skills (Technical Skills dan Soft Skills) Technical Skills: Pengetahuan yang anda perolehi melalui latihan dan pembelajaran langsung dari pengalaman pendidikan, pekerjaan atau kehidupan sebelumnya. Setiap syarikat mengharapkan bahawa anda mempunyai kemahiran teknikal tertentu khusus untuk industri mereka. Contoh: Computer programming, Design software, Statistical analysis dsb.Soft Skills: Sifat peribadi yang mempengaruhi cara anda bekerja secara individu dan kolektif.Soft Skills secara langsung memberi kesan kepada kebolehan sosial anda dan bagaimana anda berinteraksi antara pekerja lain. Contoh: Time management, Communication, Teamwork dsb.Letak skills dalam resume boleh dijadikan sebagai kekuatan seseorang pemohon. Skills ni sepatutnya kita kena letak yang berkaitan dengan permohonan kerja je. Sebagai contoh, kalau memohon kerja sebagai Graphic Designer, boleh la letak Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator dsb. Haa, yang ni kena buat research la, skills apa yang diperlukan zaman sekarang untuk bekerja. Tak perlu pun letak semua kekuatan yang korang ada kalau takde kena mengena dengan permohonan pekerjaan. Tak pelik ke, kalau minta sebagai Graphic Designer tapi letak skills: Food Service? Kalau syarikat tu post pasal kerja dan letak job description, lagi mudah. Jika syarikat tu ada bagitau ‘requirement’ dan ulaskan sedikit tentang software tools atau sebagainya, boleh la tengok sama ada kita layak mohon atau tidak. Kalau pernah menggunakan skills yang ada dalam requirement, sangat lah 100% disyorkan letak dalam resume. Educations Part educations ni, tak perlu banyak pun. Sekadar letak course, nama tempat belajar, tarikh.. tapi, kalau waktu belajar dulu korang ada masuk mana-mana persatuan atau organisasi, sangat lah disyorkan letak untuk tunjukkan korang punya personality dan interests. Bab kata Resume Genius, “Even though extracurriculars look unrelated to your target job at first glance, once you extract the soft skills you learned, they can bolster your resume and present a different side of you that makes you an even more compelling candidate.” PS Tips: Aku dulu takde la aktif sangat zaman belajar sebabnya aku cari experience dalam bidang IT dimana lebih expose kepada alam pekerjaan dunia sebenar. Hahaha. Kelab-kelab ni aku keluar awal sebab tak related dengan future job aku tapi boleh enhance kan soft skills. Better join kelab yang related dengan dream job korang.
